Requirements
  • This program is open to TJRAA members who are graduating high school seniors or freshmen at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must submit brief essays that describe their farm or ranch operation; their past and current involvement (local, state, and national) with Red Angus; how they have made significant contributions to Red Angus through their involvement; any awards or recognition they have received from their Red Angus involvement; the key challenges facing the beef industry in the next 5 years, the role of Red Angus in addressing those challenges, and how those challenges impact their career path; and their career goals.
