The Bess Whitehead Scott Scribes Scholarship is available to residents of Texas who are interested in pursuing studies in journalism. Current college students or those pursuing non-degree credits or an internship in communications or journalism are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants with 10 or more years of professional experience in journalism, nonfiction writing, or a related field.
