The CIRI Foundation Cap Lathrop Scholarship supports the educational goals of Alaska Natives. Applicants intending to work in Alaska in the broadcast/telecommunications industry are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to original enrollees and direct lineal descendants of Cook Inlet Region, Inc.

  • Member of the CIRI Foundation, Member or lineal descendent of a member of the Village Corporation
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student
  • Seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Studying in broadcasting, telecommunications, business, engineering, journalism, or other mediarelated fields
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning to work in Alaska’s broadcast/telecommunications industry
  • Alaska Native Preference is given to original enrollees and direct lineal descendants of Cook Inlet Region, Inc.
