The Education for Operators Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Idaho, Oregon, or Washington who are attending a technical school or community college in those states to prepare for a career as an operator in the water environment field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Idaho, Oregon, or Washington who are enrolled in a 1-year certificate program or a 2-year associate degree program in any state.
  • The program must be preparing them for a professional career as an operator in the water environment field.
  • They must be U.S. citizens.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic potential, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and experience pertaining to or related to the water or wastewater field.
