The Elaine and Barry Gilbert College Scholarship program awards need- and merit-based scholarships to Jewish high school seniors and current college students who are residents of the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Students who are attending or planning to attend a school in the University of California (UC) system, California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, or Hillsdale College in Michigan, are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to high school graduates of San Francisco’s Lowell or Washington High School in California.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.50 GPA
  • Resident of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma counties, California
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Attending or planning to attend California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Hillsdale College in Michigan, or a school in the University of California (UC) system
  • Jewish ancestry
