The Gerber Foundation Merit Scholarship offers competitive awards for students graduating from select high schools in Newaygo, Muskegon, or Oceana counties in Michigan. Students who are seeking a professional certificate, associate's, or bachelor's degree in the U.S. are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • GPA between 3.0 - 3.84 for Newaygo County students, minimum 3.0 for Muskegon and Oceana County students
  • Resident of Muskegon, Newaygo, or Oceana counties, Michigan
  • Attend Fremont, Grant, Hesperia, Newaygo, and White Cloud high schools or homeschool in Newaygo County, or Holton, Muskegon, Ravenna high schools in Muskegon County, or Hart, Pentwater, Shelby, Walkerville high schools in Oceana County, Michigan
  • High school senior
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend school in the U.S.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident Foreign exchange students and those planning to attend one of the four U.S. military or maritime academies are not eligible to apply.
