The GIAR Grandmothers Scholarship provides financial assistance to female residents of Hawaii and northern Nevada who are first-generation Americans of Portuguese, Mexican, Central American, or South American ancestry. Students who are seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree who demonstrate financial need are welcome to apply.
