The Harold Johnson Law Enforcement Scholarship program recognizes graduating seniors or graduates of high schools in the greater San Francisco Bay Area of California. Students who are enrolled or planning to enroll full time at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or police academy and pursue a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Graduating senior or graduate of a high school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (includes Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma counties) of California
  • Planning to enroll or currently enrolled at a 2 or 4-year college, university, or police academy as a full-time student
  • Demonstrate a desire and plan to pursue a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Exhibit academic achievement & leadership skills
