The John Grossheim Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to students entering or continuing at a university in any state, especially those with an affiliation with the Outside Processors Council (OPC) or a major in a field related to the metals industry.

Requirements

This program is open to students enrolled or planning to enroll full-time who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher if enrolled at a 4-year college or university or 2.5 or higher if enrolled at a 2-year technical school.

First preference is given to employees or dependents (children or spouses) of OPC member companies.

Second preference is given to students working on a degree in a field related to the steel or metals processing industry.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
