The McCarter Family Scholarship provides financial assistance to female high school seniors who have diabetes and plan to major in business in college.

Requirements

This program is open to women who are graduating high school seniors, have Type 1 diabetes, and plan to attend an accredited 4-year university, college, or trade/technical school in any state.

Applicants must be planning to major in business.

They must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the diabetes community, academic accomplishment, participation in community and/or extracurricular activities, and successful management of the challenges of living with diabetes.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
