The Merle S. and Jean H. Solomon Scholarship supports graduates of Person or Roxboro Community high schools in Roxboro, North Carolina, or a qualified home school authorized by the NC Division of Non-Public Education. Students who plan to pursue a vocational, technical, or trade program at a community college, two- or four-year institution, or recognized trade school are eligible to apply. If there are no qualified applicants pursuing trade or vocational programs, applicants pursuing a traditional engineering or technology degree will also be considered.
