About the Scholarship

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program (UGSP) is available to students who plan to have a career in biomedical, behavioral, or social science health-related research. Undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need (EFN) are eligible to apply. The recipient will receive paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation.
