The Sanborn ʻOhana Hoʻomau Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in a technical, vocational, or community college program. Students enrolled full time or half time are encouraged to apply. Hawai'i high school graduates who have already completed one semester of trade education or six months of trade experience under a licensed journeyman or professional receive special consideration. It is also the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
