The William Lew Scholarship supports students of Chinese ancestry who reside in Hawaii. College juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at one of the 4-year University of Hawaii campuses, or students attending the culinary program at any community college in Hawaii are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA for culinary degree, minimum 3.0 GPA for business degree
  • Resident of Hawaii
  • College junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at the University of Hawaii, OR
  • Community college student pursuing a culinary degree in Hawaii
  • Chinese ancestry
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to renewals for a maximum of 2 years.
