The YASME Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to licensed radio amateurs. Students who are interested in working on an undergraduate degree in science or engineering are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to high school seniors ranked in the top 5% to 10% of their class, college students ranked in the top 10% of their class, and students who have participated in a local amateur radio club and community service activities.

  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Studying science or engineering
  • Planning to enroll or enrolled at a 4year college or university
  • A licensed radio amateur of the general class or higher for at least two years Preference is given to high school seniors ranked in the top 5% to 10% of their class, college students ranked in the top 10% of their class, and students who have participated in a local amateur radio club and community service activities.
