TheDream.US, the nation’s largest scholarship fund for DREAMers, supports motivated immigrant youth with DACA status in completing a college education. The Opportunity Scholarship is open to high school graduates living in locked-out states—states where in-state tuition or state aid is not available to DREAMers. Students planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Christian Brothers University, Delaware State University, Eastern Connecticut State University, or Trinity Washington University (Women’s College) are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
  • Attending or planning to attend Christian Brothers University, Delaware State University, Dominican University, Eastern Connecticut State University, or Trinity Washington University (Women's College)
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree fulltime
  • "DACA or TPS status, or proof of immigration eligibility
  • Arrived in the U.S. before age 16 and lived in the U.S. for at least five years before the application opened
