Thomas F. Seay Scholarship provides financial assistance to Illinois residents who are preparing for a career in real estate at a college or university in any state.

Requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and Illinois residents who are attending a college or university in any state on a full-time basis and working on a degree with an emphasis in real estate.

They must have completed at least 30 credits with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Selection is based on the applicant's indication of interest in preparing for a career in real estate or an allied field (e.g., construction, land use planning, mortgage banking, property management, real estate appraising, real estate assessing, real estate brokerage, real estate development, real estate investment counseling, real estate law, and real estate syndication), academic achievement, references and recommendations, and financial need.

Finalists are interviewed.
