About the Scholarship

The Thomas G. and Donna P. McCoy Optimist Club Scholarship is available to undergraduate students at the Panama City campus of Florida State University, who are residents of Bay County in Florida. Students seeking a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students who have maintained residency in the Beaches area of Bay County, as well as students who detail personal achievements, including academic, scholarship, and leadership awards; participation in school and community activities (including any affiliation with Optimist Clubs); personal goals; special talents; and any special financial or family circumstances.
