The Thomas J. Watson Fellowship encourages students to travel outside of the U.S. for one year to execute a project of personal interest. The fellowship's objective is to support students' insight and inspire confidence as a leader. College seniors seeking a bachelor's degree at one of the 41 partner institutions are eligible for consideration. Interested students must meet with the designated campus advisor since this fellowship only accepts nominations and does not allow direct applications.
