Requirements
  • This program is open to students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full- or part-time student at an accredited trade school, college, or graduate school in any state.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in highway and traffic engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, public administration, business administration, environmental engineering and science, horticulture, GIS, or another related field.
  • They must be members or sponsored by members of the New England chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and committed to a career in the public works profession.
  • Selection is based on that essay, a transcript, a letter of recommendation, and financial need.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
