Tinker Spouses' Club Dependent Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependents of military personnel with ties to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors, recent graduates, GED holders, and current undergraduates who are dependent children of 1) an active-duty U.S. military member currently assigned to Tinker AFB; 2) an active-duty U.S. military member serving a tour elsewhere; 3) an active-duty U.S. military member assigned to Tinker AFB but serving an ROTC or recruiting duty elsewhere in Oklahoma; 4) a full-time federal Guard member stationed at Tinker AFB; 5) a full-time Reservist assigned to Tinker AFB; 6) a deceased U.S. military member who was on active duty at the time of death; 7) a retired U.S. military member who resides within a 70-mile radius of Tinker AFB, or 8) a member of the Tinker Spouses' Club.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.

They must be between 17 and 22 years of age and have a GPA OF 2.75 or higher.

Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, work history, citizenship, awards and honors, and leadership roles.
