Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of New Mexico between 16 and 25 years of age who are attending or planning to attend a college, university, or trade school in the state.
  • Applicants must have a parent who was permanently or catastrophically injured or killed in an employmentrelated accident that resulted in a New Mexico workers' compensation claim.
  • The parent's death or injury must have resulted in a substantial decline in the family income.
