The Tokuyama Scholarship - Imua Program is awarded to female residents of Hawaii who are single parents. Special consideration is given to students who were awarded in the immediate prior year. Additional consideration is also given to applicants who are age 22 or older, the first generation to attend college, and students of Polynesian ancestry.
