  • This program, also known as the Chief Little Bear Ortega, Sr.
  • Scholarship, is open to American Indians and Alaskan Natives who live in California and can document tribal or village enrollment or descendancy.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited college or university in any state.
  • They must be able to document completion of community service within the previous 12 months.
  • Undergraduates must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
