Tony Marlowe Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school juniors and seniors who have participated in the Junior Tour of the Middle Atlantic Section Professional Golfers' Association of America (MAPGA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of the MAPGA Junior Tour who are completing their junior or senior year of high school.
  • Anyone may become a member of the tour.
  • Also eligible are the children and grandchildren of PGA members and apprentices seeking their PGA membership.
  • Applicants must submit 1) a copy of their current academic transcript; 2) an essay of 100 to 300 words describing what it means to gain a college education and what they want to study in college; 3) a list of extracurricular activities; and 4) an essay of 300 to 500 words on their interest in the game of golf, including (but not limited to) playing, working, watching, history, or family involvement in golf.
  • Selection is based on oncourse etiquette and academic performance, but consideration is also given to extracurricular activities, financial needs, essays, references, and off-course behavior.
