The Tuition and Fee Exemption—Children of Purple Heart Recipients program is available to residents of Indiana whose parents received a Purple Heart or were wounded and received an honorable discharge. Students who are planning to pursue a professional certificate, associate's, bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree at any public institution in Indiana are welcome to apply.

  • Child of a U.S Armed Service member and Indiana resident who received the Purple Heart, or was wounded as a result of enemy action and honorably discharged
  • Resident of Indiana
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, graduate, law, medical degree, or Ph.D
  • Attend a public institution in Indiana
  • U.S. citizen, conditional permanent resident, permanent resident, or U.S. national
