The UNCF/Turner Construction Scholarship is offered to graduates of select high schools in Washington, D.C. Junior college students pursuing a degree in a construction-related field and participating in community service are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Minimum 2.50 GPA

Resident of the District of Columbia

Attending a UNCF member institution, an HBCU, or a 4year college or university

College junior

Graduates of Phelps Architecture, Construction and Engineering High School, Anacostia High School, Ballou High School, McKinley Tech High School, Banneker High School, or Dunbar High School in Washington, DC

Seeking a bachelor's degree fulltime

Studying in a construction industryrelated field, including management, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering

Participation in community service

Demonstrate financial need
