United Parcel Service Scholarship for Minority Students provides financial assistance to minority undergraduates who are studying industrial engineering at a school in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

Requirements

Eligible to be nominated are minority undergraduate students enrolled at any school in the United States or its territories, Canada, or Mexico, provided the school's engineering program is accredited by an agency recognized by the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) and the student is pursuing a full-time course of study in industrial engineering with a GPA of at least 3.4.

Nominees must have at least 5 full quarters or 3 full semesters remaining until graduation.

Students may not apply directly for these awards; they must be nominated by the head of their industrial engineering department.

Nominees must be IISE members.

Selection is based on scholastic ability, character, leadership, and potential service to the industrial engineering profession.
