The University of North Georgia ROTC Grant for Future Officers is available to residents of Georgia who participate in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps as full-time students at UNG. Students who are pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree full-time at UNG are eligible to apply. Before their senior year, recipients will agree to become an officer in the Army National Guard or any branch of the armed services of the U.S. after graduation.

Requirements

Participate in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) at the UNG, with intentions of becoming an officer in the Army National Guard or any branch of the armed services of the U.S. after graduation

Resident of Georgia

Attending the University of Northern Georgia as an undergraduate

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student

U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident

Be in compliance with Selective Service registration requirements and the Georgia DrugFree Postsecondary Education Act of 1990

Maintain satisfactory academic progress

Not be in default or owe a refund on a student financial aid program
