The USS Bulkeley Scholarship is awarded to the children and spouses of USS Bulkeley Navy crew members. Students who have participated in extracurricular activities are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Child or spouse of a U.S. Navy sailor who is on active duty, retired, or honorably discharged

Service member must have a Surface Warfare qualification, served 6 years on active duty under the administrative control of Commander Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Atlantic or Pacific Fleet, and have served on the USS Bulkeley (DDG84) for at least one year

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree (spouses may also be seeking a graduate degree)

Children must be aged 22 or younger

Children must be enrolled full time; spouses may be full or part-time

Exhibit merit through academic performance and character

Participate in extracurricular activities

Demonstrate financial need
