The V. George & Jeannette M. Carey Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from Delaware. Students seeking a degree or professional designation in agriculture or an education-related field are encouraged to apply. Residents of Ellendale, Lewes, Lincoln, Milford, Milton, and Slaughter Beach in Delaware receive special consideration. Students who participate in 4-H, FFA, and other community service activities also receive special consideration. Selection is based on academic performance, but students not in the top 10% of their class are preferred.

  • Graduating high school senior in Delaware
  • Studying for a degree or professional designation in agriculture or an educationrelated field
  • Participate in 4H, FFA, and/or community service
  • Exhibit academic achievement Preference is given to residents of Ellendale, Lewes, Lincoln, Milford, Milton, and Slaughter Beach in Delaware; students who participate in 4H, FFA, and other community service; and those below the top 10% of their class.
