The Valkyrie-Thor Scholarship in Theatre Arts supports residents of the East Tennessee Foundation's service area. Graduating high school seniors and college students planning to study acting, costume design, lighting design, scenic design, directing, stagecraft, theatre history, dramatic literature, or theatre studies for teacher licensure at Maryville College, Pellissippi State Community College, Roane State Community College, or the University of Tennessee- Knoxville are welcome to apply.

  • Reside in the Eastern Tennessee Foundation's 25county service area

  • Attending or planning to attend Maryville College, Pellissippi State Community College, Roane State Community College, or the University of Tennessee Knoxville
