The Vernon J. and Shirley M. Hipwell Family Music Scholarship program is available to graduating seniors from Grand Haven and Spring Lake high schools in Michigan. Students who are pursuing a career in music are welcome to apply. Students who demonstrate a passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of children and youth through music receive special consideration. Spring Lake High School students will be considered if there are no applicants from Grand Haven High School.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating senior from Grand Haven or Spring Lake high schools in Michigan

Pursuing a musical career

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who demonstrate a passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of children and youth through music. Spring Lake High School students will be considered if there are no applicants from Grand Haven High School.
