Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 731 Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with scholarships for college in any state, high school seniors in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin who submit outstanding essays based on an interview of a Vietnam era veteran.

Requirements

This competition is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin who have a GPA of 2.6 or higher.

Applicants must submit a 500word essay based on an interview of a veteran who served honorably on active duty at any time between January 1, 1959 and May 7, 1975; the service may have been anywhere in the world and the veteran may or may not be a relative.

They must be planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited degree-granting institution of higher education in any state.
