VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to students who served or are the spouses or other family members of individuals who served, with VII Corps in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, or related activities.

Requirements

Applicants must have served, or be a family member of those who served, with VII Corps in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, or 1 of the support base activities.

Scholarships are limited to students entering or enrolled full or parttime at accredited 2- and 4-year colleges, universities, and technical schools.

Selection is not based solely on academic standing; consideration is also given to extracurricular activities, community activities and/or involvement, professional organizations, high school organizations and/or activities, and other selfdevelopment skills and abilities obtained through on-the-job training or correspondence courses.

Priority is given to survivors of VII Corps soldiers who died during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm or Provide Comfort, veterans who are also members of the VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association, and family members of veterans who are also members of the VII Corps Desert Storm Veterans Association.
