The Virginia Counts/Betty Irish SWE for Life Scholarship is open to female members of the Society of Women Engineers who are pursuing a full-time bachelor’s or graduate degree in mechanical engineering at an ABET-accredited institution. Eligible students must be currently enrolled as sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students, and should demonstrate involvement in community service, extracurricular activities, or relevant work experience.
