Requirements

Applicants must have been enrolled at a college or university in any state for 1 year and qualify under 1 of the following conditions: 1) an officer or warrant officer in the Virginia National Guard and a VNGA member; 2) a dependent child or spouse of an officer or warrant officer in the Virginia National Guard who is a VNGA member; 3) a dependent child or spouse of a retired officer or warrant officer who is a VNGA member; 4) a dependent child or spouse of a deceased retired officer or warrant officer; or 5) a dependent child or spouse of a Virginia National Guard officer or warrant officer who died while actively serving in the Virginia National Guard.
