VTCA Associate Trade and Technical Training Scholarship provide financial assistance to employees of companies affiliated with the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) and their dependents who are interested in attending trade/technical school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors and undergraduates currently enrolled full-time at a trade/technical school in any state who are employees of companies affiliated with VTCA or dependents of those employees.
  • Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to, automotive technology, CAD/CADD drafting, carpentry, commercial driver's license, civil engineering technology, construction management technology, diesel mechanics/technician, electrician, general engineering technology, heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment maintenance, mechanical engineering technology, truck driving, or welding.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and a demonstrated interest in preparing for a career in the transportation industry.
  • Selection is based on academic performance, employment experience, extracurricular and leadership activities, financial need, and demonstrated interest in the transportation industries.
