VWEA Member Dependent Scholarship provides financial assistance to children of members of the Virginia Water Environment Association (VWEA) who are working on an undergraduate degree related to wastewater at a school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to children of VWEA members who are currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at a college or university in Virginia.

Applicants must be working on a degree in civil or environmental engineering or physical environmental science.

They must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Selection is based on the essay (25%), work and research experience (25%), extracurricular activities (25%), and academic performance (25%).
