Walter Munz Culinary and Hospitality Scholarship provide financial assistance to students of Swiss descent in northern California who demonstrate financial need and are working on or planning to work on an undergraduate degree in culinary art or hospitality.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students of Swiss descent; at least 1 parent must be a Swiss citizen, or the applicant must be a Swiss citizen, and either the parent or applicant must be registered with the Swiss Consulate.
  • Applicants must have lived in northern California for at least 3 years preceding the date of application and be applying to or attending an institution of higher learning in the United States that offers a program in culinary arts or hospitality.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in high school or 3.0 or higher in college.
  • Financial need is also considered in the selection process.
