WELSCO Stephen E. Harrison Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Arkansas who are interested in studying welding at a vocational/technical school in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time students in welding programs at vocational/technical schools in Arkansas.
  • Preference is given to students who have been residents of Arkansas for at least 1 year.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to demonstrate an interest in welding by prior work experience, clubs, or extracurricular activities.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher overall and 3.0 or higher in welding courses.
  • Financial need is not required but preference is given to students who can demonstrate financial need.
