The West Virginia PROMISE Scholarship is available to high school graduates who reside in West Virginia and complete specified academic requirements. Students planning to pursue an associate or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Preference is given to applicants who participate in at least 20 hours of community service.

Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum ACT composite score of 21 (minimum 19 in English, math, science, and reading), minimum overall SAT score of 1080, minimum SAT EvidenceBased Reading and Writing score of 510, or minimum SAT Math score of 510

Graduating high school senior

Must complete a specified academic program while in high school

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree from any college or university in West Virginia as a fulltime student Preference is given to applicants who participate in at least 20 hours of community service.
