Western Region Korean American Scholarship provides financial assistance to Korean American students from any state who are working on or planning to work on an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field at a school in western states.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of any state who are 1) U.S. citizens of Korean heritage; 2) Korean citizens who have a valid visa to study in the United States; and 3) citizens of any other country who are of Korean heritage and have a valid visa to study in the United States.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a fulltime undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, or Washington.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, an essay, recommendations, and financial need.
