Requirements
  • This program is open to the children (including legally adopted children) of firefighters who died in the line of duty.
  • Applicants must be attending or planning to attend an accredited 2year college, 4-year college or university, or vocational training institution in the United States or Canada.
  • Selection is based primarily on financial need, although consideration is also given to academic performance (at least a 2.0 GPA), letters of recommendation, and a 200word essay on the applicant's reasons for wanting to continue their education.
