The W.H. Metz Newspaper Management Scholarship offers financial assistance to college students in Alabama. Rising college juniors and seniors either seeking a bachelor's degree in journalism or who have worked at an APA member newspaper or high school/college newspaper are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to minority students who plan to pursue a career at a newspaper in Alabama.
