Requirements

This program is open to women who have completed at least 1 academic year of full-time study at an accredited 4-year college or university (or at a community college with the intention of transferring to a 4-year school).

Applicants must be majoring in criminal justice or a related field (e.g., social sciences, public administration, computer science, finance, linguistic arts, chemistry, physics).

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students in graduate and postgraduate programs are also eligible, but those working on an associate degree are not.

Selection is based on academic potential, achievement, and commitment to serving communities in the field of law enforcement.

U.S. citizenship is required.
