Wilburn Clary Medal Scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors (females and males considered separately) at high schools in North Carolina who have participated in at least 2 varsity sports and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools that are members of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and planning to attend college in any state.
  • Applicants must have participated in at least 2 varsity sports; have a GPA of 3.2 or higher; demonstrate athletic excellence through awards, honors, and special recognitions; demonstrate success in other, nonsport, extracurricular activities; demonstrate active involvement within their community through volunteer service programs, scouts, or other similar activities; and have clear disciplinary records.
