Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Virginia who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and are planning a career in a field of aviation not related to engineering (e.g., pilot, aviation maintenance technician, aviation manager).
  • Applicants must have been accepted to an aviationrelated program at an accredited college.
  • They must submit an essay of 350 to 500 words on why they wish to prepare for a career in aviation.
  • Financial need is also considered in the selection process.
