The William D. Hawkins Memorial Scholarship supports students attending Volunteer State Community College. Special consideration is given to students studying physical sciences or engineering who graduated from Macon County High School, Lafayette, Tennessee, or Red Boiling Springs High School, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, or who reside in Macon County, Tennessee. If no applicants meet the preferred qualifications, any degree-seeking VSCC student may receive the scholarship.
