The William J. Galaway Library and Information Science Scholarship program recognizes graduating high school seniors or recent graduates who are residents of Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Winnebago counties in Illinois. Students seeking a bachelor's degree in library and information science, or a related field and are planning a career as a librarian are welcome to apply. Those who volunteer or work in a library and exhibit strong academic performance receive special consideration.
